Even though these Red Camelia blooms did not have the obvious pollen as the White Camellia there was plenty of bee action.
And this bee was taking full advantage.

The red and gold are lovely!
They do make a nice combo, Liz! And I’m continually amazed at how these Camellias bloom in winter. We may be past our last overnight freeze, but anything is possible.
