On a mission, or so it would seem, this Alligator crossed from one side of the pond to the other without stopping or diverting. His pace was just slow enough he didn’t make much of a ripple in the water.
After he passed the Cyprus tree the reflections from the budding trees on the far bank colored the water.
Very cruisey indeed … lovely!
Thanks, Liz!
That top pic is a wee bit surreal. Fine work.
Thanks, Frank! Glad you liked it.
Lovely shots, the backdrop in the first is dramatic!
Thanks, Belinda! I was half expecting something dramatic to happen with all those birds around, but he just kept on moving.
I love the reflections and the pastel. Very soft.
Thanks, Gina! This spot provides a wealth of photographic opportunities.
Live that you caught him w the cypress Ellen. Beautiful
Thank you, Tina! Those cypress are wonderful.
Beautiful images, Ellen … feels like being right there. It is fascinating to wonder why gators sometimes laze along slowly, and yet at other times seem to be so ‘goal-oriented’!?!
Thank you! It is fascinating –probably never what we expect!
