This Great Egret was putting her all into attracting a mate. She may have figured out the pool of potential mates is shrinking. Most of the other Great Egrets are sitting on eggs and a few have chicks.

Thanks, Mike! Lots of waiting for the right position but so fun to watch them. Spot metering has worked well for me on the white birds, especially in the bright light.
