Walking along the edge of the surf, this Ruddy Turnstone was proactively looking for a snack, racing ahead of the flowing water.

Thanks, Belinda! Nothing big, but Ii’s hard to tell for sure–they probe the sand with their beaks and seem to be able to swallow prey without showing any sign of it!
