Thank you, Liz. Although I like to see big swaths of them the single Iris is one of my favorite flowers to photograph. A garden in a broad sense. They are here and there around Magnolia Plantation & Gardens, our most frequent photography spot. Most of the ponds, even the big one with the heron rookery have a few patches. I suspect they were planted decades ago and have thrived in some spots.
