He executed several turns as he surveyed the marsh below him.
Mockingbirds are very common and easy to overlook with rather a drab appearance. Their spunkiness makes them stand out.

Thanks! We often see them in the trees along the marsh edge, but this was unusual.
I like the simplicity of the backgrounds and the lines created with the tall “grasses”. Always amazes me how birds can softly land and balance themselves on almost anything!
