  1. A wonderful, almost graphic image, of a very adaptable bird. Strange that it can fly with such a thin and wet plumage.

    1. The Anhinga are fascinating to watch, first that they can swim underwater! And although the books say they need to dry off before flying or re-entering the water, that’s not always how the birds do it!
