The bridge across the pond at Magnolia Cemetery has been repaired and reopened, allowing me a nice view of this Little Blue Heron and his Spanish Moss backdrop.

The breeze kept lifting his long feathers, but didn’t carry that little fluff left from preening off his beak.

Thanks, Donna! We’ve had a lot of wind this winter and I think there has been re-distribution of the moss in many places. It was to good effect here!
