I find this really special, flowers that open at night and close again as the sun comes up. The lighting is beautifully done too. Ted had told me about using the Godox flash, and I can imagine it wasn’t easy to get right, but the result certainly pays off. The details, especially the stamens and those tiny water droplets, are razor sharp. Beautiful work, and a very special subject.
Thanks, Marc. We have been fortunate that this one plant has had several blooms every day for a couple of weeks and there are more coming. It’s been fun to have just out the door—no travel required. The Godox flash is amazingly simple to use.
