People love ducks. I mean, we seem to have a special affection for them. There’s a beach resort nearby and the property has a large population of resident ducks. People spend hundreds of dollars to spend a night here, but they seem more entertained by the families of ducks than all of the resort attractions and activities. (And who didn’t root for Daffy Duck in his ongoing war of wits with Bugs Bunny? I’m just sayin’.)
Yes, we do, David, and I sure would rather spend time with them than the “resort activities!” The writers of those old cartoons really had some wit, and did pull us right into the struggle.
