Another Osprey was perched with his half eaten fish.
And yes, it was windy.
He was hanging on to the fish pretty tightly, balanced on his other leg leaning into the wind.

I bet you do, they sure are entertaining and Florida seems to have many that aren’t as shy of people. That’s probably not a good thing for them.
Us and our Osprey are the envy of other countries where people are not able to so easily see nor allowed to even get up close to see a nest. Very protected in the U.K. And we boat right by them within feet on a channel marker, because the Osprey have become too accustomed to humans. I agree, probably not a good thing. But my goodness to be up so close and personal as I have been has been truly amazing! 🙂
