Yellow was the predominant flower color around the old rice field this early fall day.

Single blooms stretch and turn to maximize their sun exposure.

Pulled down by the weight of the flowers these spikes bobbed out over the water.

On the edge of the canal nature arranged more of these stalks in an artful pattern.
