The rising sun made a grand entrance over South Carolina’s ACE Basin on Thursday.

Turn 180 degrees and the view wasn’t nearly as flashy, but the setting full moon casting a reflection in the canal was quite pretty.

South Carolina’s Ashepoo, Combahee and South Edisto (ACE) Basin represents one of the largest undeveloped estuaries on the east coast of the United States.
A spectacular sunrise!
It was, Donna. The clouds were perfect. We went back this morning and there was no color at all.
What a contrast and that at the same spot, marvelous.
Thanks, Greta!
Both of those are stunning Ellen! I love the contrast too, “hot” and “cool”. Wonderful!
Thanks, Liz. The impact of just turning around was amazing.
I bet! I can just imagine it 🙂
