This perky bloom caught my eye, with a lovely shape and distinctly different color than the various Camellias and Tulip Magnolias that were flowering in the vicinity.

What a lovely colour that is!
I thought so, too, and it must have been the only bloom or I got distracted by something else. I wish I had taken a picture of the whole plant.
