    1. This is a continuous action on the seaward side of the barrier islands on the coast as the surf wears off the outer edge and then the trees fall over. Storms or unusual high tides tend to cause a dramatic change, but I think these have been there awhile.

    1. Thanks, Donna, it was quite spectacular that morning. You never know when these “bones” are going to get swept out to see, or completely block access by a storm or super high tide. I was happy to have a bit of beach to work with that day.
