I haven’t seen many ducks yet this winter. This lone Blue-winged Teal was paddling around in the duck weed in a small pond near the swamp.

We were remarking the other day we haven’t seen snow geese either.
It’s been a plentiful year for feeder birds, especially cardinals.
Nice job on the teal, a challenging shoot by the looks of it!

Interesting on your bird variations. Year-to-year wildlife changes always occur, but it sure makes you wonder what the birds are up to. Always nice to have cardinals bringing some snazzy color.
