Tulip Magnolias are also known as Japanese Magnolias, having taken a circuitous route from their native China to Japan to the US in the 1780s.
This year’s blossom show at Magnolia Plantation has been quite magnificent.
So far the colder nights and light frosts we have experienced have not spoiled the blooms.

The branches with Spanish Moss provide a wonderful background to the gorgeous Tulip Magnolia flowers! Lovely to see your photos.
