The Middleton Place barnyard cat is something of an independent fellow that chooses his leisure spots based on his idea of comfort.
Here a bit of sun had been warming the bricks behind one of the barnyard displays. Ted called it a cauldron –toil & trouble and all that.
The cat didn’t care and clearly wasn’t worried about that giant thing falling on him.

I always have a look for the Middleton Place barnyard cat when I’m there.
Last week he was snoozing on a chair in one of the educational displays. I say snoozing, he was awake enough to turn his head when I tried to get a profile shot.
