These two ramps are on opposite ends of a pond and this was a warm day last month for Alligators to get some air.
The ramp above was new a year or so ago and the other one, slowly sinking, has been there four years that I know of.

You or Ted may have told us before, are those ramps placed for the alligators to perch or something else? I love the ‘arm hang’ shot!! 😊
Yes, for the alligators. This is at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens and it gives the gators a place to get out of the water where the tourists (and us!) can get a good, safe view. It does not stop them from coming out on the pond banks or onto the trails. 🙂
