Pink Morning Glories

More Pink Morning Glories

Morning Glories grow wild along the roads through many of the wildlife management areas around South Carolina.

These pink ones make a bold statement as they reach for the early sun.

I prefer lining them up with a solid background like the first two images with the blue-grey water behind them, but found this final image with layers of trees, marsh grass and water appealing, too.

I started this post in Classic Editor then finished it with the new Block Editor, hopefully without creating display issues.

    1. It’s a treat to see them in our travels.

Do you prefer having the image open in a new window, Liz? I’m torn which way to proceed with that, now that you’ve shown me how. Thank you!

I just went back to look at this post through editor and see that because I started it the Classic way it kept the image options I’m used to . I’m going to try to stick to the Block method for a few days and try to develop a system.

      1. Personally I do prefer images to open in a new window. Because… I can keep your post visible without it having to ‘reload’. So I’ll read your intro, click on the 1st image which opens in a new window … and your post is still waiting there for me to return to and continue reading – without having to wait for it to reload again.

      2. Thanks for laying out your process, Liz. I hadn’t thought of the re-loading part, but so often have closed an image to discover I’ve gotten out of the whole thing. Ugg on me for not paying attention, habits are hard to change!

    1. Thank you, Donna! It’s been a treat to have so many on this road with photographic opportunities while keeping my feet out of the tall grass where biting insects, and other things, lurk.
