Lone Roseate Spoonbill in the Spoonie Tree

The Spoonie Tree is still standing, and a single Roseate Spoonbill was perched there on my last visit.

I took a walk down the dike and an hour later he was still there, and still alone.

    1. The Spoonbill has little to fear from an Alligator, and sometimes I wonder if they even recognize the alligators as a predator. I have seen an Alligator will snatch up a wading bird, so it does happen 🐊.
