I visited the lambs at Middleton Place on April 17th and gave a chuckle when I saw this scene of the 9 day old cutie using snuggling up with mom.

A chuckle, not an outright laugh, because I could not spot the twin lamb.

After junior 1 settled on the ground for another nap I could just see another white tuft behind mom. Phew!

Junior 2 had been nestled in on mom’s other side.

She took a little stroll and it wasn’t long before they both hopped up to join her.

Gorgeous photos Ellen, they’re so sweet!
Thanks, Liz! They are, and growing fast. There were six little ones the last time I went, these twins, the single that was born first and triplets.
Oh my Ellen, LOVE these. I was at Middleton 2 weeks ago and never thought to go INSIDE the barn š©. All of the sheep came out while I was there for feeding so I photographed them but my images were fairly plebeian. Thanks for much for sharing these!
Thanks, Tina, glad you liked them and so sorry you missed seeing them in person. They are sooo cute! The mother sheep and lambs are in the enclosures to the right of the barn, the first two together in the middle pen, and now triplets that were born last week in a separate pen behind the Cashmere Goats. There is one more pregnant ewe that hasn’t given birth yet.
According to one of the farm workers the families will be let out to roam with the rest of the herd as the lambs are three to four weeks old. That will be fun to see, too!
Wow – sounds great Ellen. Will try to get back out there.
Awwww…..so so adorable! It looks like the little one in the first photo is giving Mama a kiss!!
They are fun to watch, Donna. Soon theyāll be out on the big lawn with the herd and I hope to get there to see their world get bigger.
Awwwww… They are so cute š¤©š¤©šš . Beautiful photographs
Thank you, Hey Bee! The lambs have been fun to watch.
